Founded in 1810, Johnson & Perrott Motor Group is one of Ireland’s leading motor retailers. Employing in excess of 300 people, the Group has interests in vehicle hire, motor dealerships and fleet management.
The Group turned over €145 million for the year ended 31st December 2007 with growth in turnover being experienced in all divisions. Its daily rental activities comprise of both the Avis Rent A Car and Avis Truck & Van Rental franchises for the Republic of Ireland. The 2nd largest car rental company in Ireland, Avis Rent A Car has locations at all the international and regional airports together with a downtown office in Dublin. Avis Truck & Van Rental has operations in Cork & Dublin.
The Group has two car dealerships situated atMahonpoint Retail Park and Douglas Road, both in Cork city. The company represents the Honda, Kia Landrover, Opel and Volvo new car franchises together with Kia, Mercedes, Mitsubishi and Opel commercial franchises.
The Group’s Fleet Management company, Johnson & Perrott Fleet, is located at South City Business Park, Tallaght where the Group provides a full range of products and services for both car and commercial vehicle customers in the Republic of Ireland. Johnson & Perrott Fleet is a member of Global Fleet Services, which is represented by ARI in Northern America, ALD in mainland Europe and the United Kingdom, Imperial Fleet Services in South Africa and ORIX in Asia.
